    Description

    Uncommonly found, small Fritz Heckert Red Marmopal art glass lamp shade, ca. 1900.
    8 ruffles, opal base glass with dark red layer covered by gold spotting then raised opal threads.  Purple and gold iridescence.
    Rim is smooth and appears to have been cut down.  Second pic shows next to uncut Heckert shade.  Third pic shows as purchased in a lamp holder.  3.5" tall x 3.25" dia.
    Otherwise, no chips to bottom rim, no cracks to body.
